Purposes of His Heart

My name is Tiffany Lynn Milby and I would personally like to welcome you to my website! The ministry of Purposes of His Heart was started in 2009 as I finished the writing of my first book. For years, I felt in my spirit that the Lord had a plan to use my experiences as an evangelist in my community to encourage other believers.

 

In 2002, the Lord began to stir up a sense of urgency to take my role as an evangelist seriously when I experienced the loss of a friend. She was a mother who was a member of a small Bible study group I led in the community and she was killed just three weeks after accepting the Lord. My belief that I had a valid excuse for putting off outreach until I was less busy was shattered. God began to reveal to me the vision of living a life Jesus’ style which was one that would be moved with His compassion for others. I learned that this supernatural compassion was vital in evangelism since it caused me to respond to a person in need without weighing the risks. God showed me through His word that even though we live in a crazy-busy generation with so many distractions, God’s plan has never changed, which is to use His children to draw others to Him.

 

 

 

In His Word it says:

 

“But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind;
from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth- he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.”
Psalms 33:11, 13-15

 

 

 

I strongly believe that one of the most important purposes of God’s heart for believers is to draw others to Him through our words, actions and God-given gifts and talents. When we are using what God has given us and just being who He designed us to be – outreach is done more naturally and becomes less awkward.

 

I am confident that God is not going to accept the “I was too busy” excuse for not sharing Christ’s love and compassion with others on judgment day. Life is not a dress rehearsal, but rather a final performance with God as our audience. How are you fulfilling the purposes of His heart for your life today?

 

Ministry Vision

The Vision of Purposes of His Heart is:

• To encourage Christians to see their busy schedules as opportunities (not excuses) for sharing Christ with others
• To encourage others to recognize that God created them with gifts and talents that can be used to impact others for Christ in this generation
• To assist believers in discovering their God-given gifts and talents
• To equip the body of Christ to naturally draw others to Him through living a life that is moved with compassion for others
• To demonstrate through real life stories and ideas that outreach can become a natural part of everyday life
• To encourage believers to commit to spending regular time with Jesus in order to become more like Him
